ELDA Armchair
An icon of futuristic design by Joe Colombo, featuring a 360-degree revolving fiberglass shell and anatomical leather cushions.
Designed in 1963 by Joe Colombo, the Elda armchair remains a futuristic masterpiece that blends 1950s American and Scandinavian influences with 1930s functionalism. The structure consists of a 360-degree revolving circular base in fiberglass, handcrafted in original moulds. Its distinctive shape features two fiberglass shells padded with anatomical polyurethane foam cushions upholstered in high-quality leather. The high backrest and enveloping form provide a sense of privacy and well-being, while hidden wheels allow for effortless rotation. The outer shell is available in classic white or black, as well as metallic finishes like bronze, grey, and blue.
