Modern Living Room Design with FIAM Italia

The living room design presented in this project is developed based on FIAM Italia’s innovative glass processing technologies and the principles of Italian minimalism. The core philosophy of the design is to utilize the transparency of glass to create distinct usage areas without dividing the room, thereby preserving the sense of spaciousness within the interior. The large textured FIAM mirror located at the center of the apartment makes the room appear more voluminous and ensures the efficient distribution of natural light throughout the interior space. At the same time, the dark-toned shelving systems and the corner sofa group create a contrast with the brand’s transparent elements, forming a balanced environment. Thanks to this approach, the panoramic city view becomes an integral part of the interior, creating a seamless line of sight within the apartment.

Venus Mirror

Venus Mirror

Venus is a special glass collection with a thickness of 8 mm, formed using high-temperature melting technology. The back of the mirror is coated with a silver layer, and its frame is crafted with delicate embossed ornaments, creating aesthetic light effects within the space. Featuring a 5 mm thick flat central mirror surface, this model can be used in various forms according to the interior layout, with the capability of being hung both horizontally and vertically.

Inori Shelving System

Designer: Setsu and Shinobu Ito

Inori is a multifunctional modular shelving system composed of glass or wood materials. The versatile structure of the construction and its easy assembly features allow it to be used as both a display showcase and a TV stand. The model is available in both wall-mounted and free-standing versions. The vertical uprights can be freely adjusted on each shelf via special sliding rails, which allows for the creation of configurations tailored to individual needs within a space.

Pearl is an elegant pendant lamp designed for interiors, featuring a metal frame with burnished brass details. The model consists of a double-layered glass structure, where the outer part is made of transparent handmade Murano glass, and the inner part is made of white opal glass that softly diffuses light. Equipped with an integrated LED light source, this lamp creates a luxurious and modern lighting atmosphere within the space through its aesthetic appearance.

Lakes is a collection of elegantly designed coffee tables created from the harmony of different materials and textures. The top panel of the table can be crafted from 10 mm metallic lacquered glass, formed using high-temperature melting technology, or from luxury marble material. The metal base, presented in “Lava Grey” or metallic “Champagne” shades, completes the structure of the table and adds a modern aesthetic touch to the interior.

Magma is an elegantly designed coffee table that demonstrates the aesthetic possibilities of glass craftsmanship. The top panel of the table is made of 12 mm thick tempered glass, formed using high-temperature melting technology. Semi-transparent or metallic paints applied to the back surface of the glass add a special color depth to the space. The base structure, made of solid natural wood, is presented in tobacco-stained or black finish options, completing the design’s naturalness and sturdiness.

Design: Marcel Wanders

Echo is an exclusive showcase model created by the renowned designer Marcel Wanders and included in the “ADI Design Index 2024” selection. The body of the showcase is made of aluminum profiles in metallic “Champagne” or “Vulcan Grey” shades, while the bottom panel is crafted from 6 mm “extralight” glass lacquered in the same color tones. The options of high-temperature fused glass or flat (float) glass for the doors and side panels create different visual textures within the space. The LED lighting system, integrated into the front columns of the construction, perfectly illuminates the displayed items from all sides.

Carrara is a specialized sofa system that combines high ergonomics with luxury design, available in both fixed and modular configurations. Featuring a multi-layered internal structure and a seating system equipped with elastic belts, this model ensures maximum comfort with “Memory” foam and sterilized goose down filling. The decorative strip and functional “tray” element at the base of the sofa are upholstered in exclusive “Silky” leather, adding a special elegance to the design. Rising on a black linear base, Carrara fits perfectly into any interior style with fabric or leather upholstery options.

Echo is an exclusive showcase model created by the renowned designer Marcel Wanders, distinguished by its technological excellence and artistic aesthetics. The body of the showcase is made of aluminum profiles in metallic “Champagne” or “Vulcan Grey” shades, while the bottom panel is crafted from 6 mm tempered “extralight” glass in harmony with the color of the construction. The options of high-temperature fused, smoked (fumé), or bronze glass for the doors and side panels create a rich visual texture within the space. Thanks to the 8 mm durable internal shelves and the LED lighting system integrated into the front columns, the displayed items become the center of attention.

Agos is an elegantly designed table that combines industrial aesthetics with high-quality craftsmanship. The foundation of the table consists of a metal base painted in “Lava Grey” or metallic “Greige” shades. Several different options are presented for the top panel: 15 mm “extralight” glass formed using high-temperature melting technology, or 16 mm bronze or smoke-colored, layered, and specially bevelled glass options. With both transparent and metallic back-painted variants, this model adds a modern and characteristic atmosphere to the space.

Waves, as the name suggests, is an elegant console model with a unique texture reminiscent of the rhythm of sea waves. The top panel of the table can be crafted from 23 mm thick DV-Glass (with transparent or colored striped texture), developed using FIAM Italia’s special technology, or from luxury marble material. The metal base, presented in opaque Titanium or Black Glossy Nickel shades, completes the sculptural form of the console, adding a modern and dramatic aesthetic to the interior.

Newton is a chair model featuring a solid natural wood structure that reflects high-quality craftsmanship. The construction is presented in tobacco-stained oak or an open-pore black lacquered finish that emphasizes the texture of the wood. The seat and backrest are upholstered in “Leather One” leather or soft-textured “Nubuck” material, ensuring both visual aesthetics and ergonomic comfort.
